What genre are we? Drummer James St. James said it best – “Y’all-ternative rock ‘n country soul!” Lisa and the Broken Hallelujahs (LLBH) bring you finessed classic country, with rockin’ flair. “We choose the songs that move people the most – that meet them right where they’re at. We want to leave our music family in a better place than when we found them. THAT is our goal and purpose,” says- frontwoman, Lisa Lynn Morgan. LLBH covers everything from Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Merle Haggard, and Chris Stapleton to Jimi Hendrix, The Band, Foo Fighters, Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, Pretenders, Elle King, Bruce Springsteen, Motels, No Doubt, and a few things in between. It must be working because the band has won several Coachella Valley Music Awards, has backed up renown artists such as rock icon, Terry Reid and Mickey Thomas (Jefferson Starship, Starship, Melvin Bishop)
